Eating healthy shouldn’t be a struggle. When you think of healthy salads you might think of something boring without much flavor. That is where this berry salad comes in to save the day!
Salads can be delicious when you can throw together a great combination of sweet and savory along with some yummy crunchy additives.
I love adding berries to my salads. Not just in the summer, but I like adding them to my salads all year as long as I can get my hands on some fresh fruit! YUM!
Here is one of my favorite berry salad recipes below that comes together really nicely. Everything in this salad complements each other perfectly! Give it a try!
•1 cup baby spring mix
•1 cup baby spinach
•1/3 cup blueberries
•5 large strawberries, sliced
•1/4 cup sliced pecans, toasted
•2 tablespoons crumbled feta cheese
1.In a large salad bowl, combine the baby spring mix and baby spinach and toss.
2.Top with blueberries, strawberries, sliced pecans, and feta cheese.
3.Drizzle on your favorite salad dressing (vinaigrette goes great with this salad!).
